Clinic Policies

My relationship with my patients is built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect.

As a condition of working with me, all patients agree to the policies below.
They're non-negotiable. If you don't support any of my policies, that means our values aren't aligned and you can't be my patient.

Does that bum you out? Me too!

Check back once you've had a change of heart.

Cancellation Policy

As a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued patients. (That's you!)

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved just for you.

When you cancel on short notice, my livelihood is jeopardized. You're also taking an appointment away from someone else who could benefit from my care.

As such:

I require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel your appointment without penalty.

If you cancel, reschedule, or shorten your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, for any reason, the card on file will be charged for the full treatment cost.

If you’re 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled.

It's not a punishment; it's protection of my most valuable resource—my time.

Credit Cards

To reserve your appointment time, a credit card must be placed on file. You will never be charged at the time of booking.

Your card will only be used in the event of a late cancellation (less than 48 hours’ notice) or a missed appointment. Because each session is reserved exclusively for you, this policy helps protect my time and allows me to continue offering timely care to all patients.

Accepted Payments

Cash, Debit and E-Transfer are the preferred method of payment however we do accept Credit Card payments as well.

At this time we do not offer direct billing to insurance companies. You are responsible for paying your invoice in full at the completion of your appointment. You will be provided with a receipt that has all information required to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Refusal Of Service

For safety purposes, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time.

Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Intoxication

  • Derogatory or Bigoted Comments

  • Sexual or Romantic Advances or Comments

  • Illness or Infectious Conditions

  • Contagious or Unidentified Skin Conditions (ie: rashes)

If you develop a skin condition, please clear it with your doctor before receiving massage.

If you exhibit any of the aforementioned conditions or behaviours, you'll be denied treatment, charged for the appointment, and discharged from my practice.

Thank you for keeping me and my other patients safe.
